About Chitharadurga
Chitharadurga is a district information portal dedicated to Chitradurga – the city of the seven-walled stone fort in the heart of Karnataka. It brings together the district's history, tourism, legends, culture, nature and community life in one place, in English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu.
This website was originally developed and launched in the Kannada language and was graciously inaugurated by Sri D. Sudhakar, Former Minister, Government of Karnataka on 1st November 2007 at Challakere, Chitradurga District.
The original website was developed by Raghavendra Padmashali, with its content written and compiled by Raghavendra Padmashali and B. V. Bharath Kumar.
As part of its latest upgrade, the website has undergone a complete redesign and comprehensive content revision. The entire website, including its structure, presentation, features, and content, has been updated and enhanced by Raghavendra Padmashali to provide a more informative, accessible, and engaging experience for visitors.
We gratefully acknowledge everyone who contributed to the website’s journey from its initial launch to its present form.
